Portway Pre School
Launched in April 2021, our Pre-School provision was opened to support our Portway families and wider community. This is an extension of our āOutstandingā Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).Ā Our curriculum overview is available here.
Our Pre-School provision caters to our youngest children who are two years old-until the term after they turn three, when they are invited to apply for our 3 year old nursery provision. Children attending our Pre-School are given the best opportunity to a successful start in their education.
Our approach to theĀ running of this provision is outlined in this EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) document.Ā Our specially trained staff ensure that at all times, the detailed pre-school policy appendices documentĀ as well as whole school policies, are followed, ensuring the highest standard of care at all times.
