For September 2025 Nursery and Reception entry (and for in-year arrangements for the year 2024-25)
Welcome to our Admissions page.Ā Ā Our school is part of Newham Community Learning, a local Trust of six schools.Ā As the admissions authority, the Trust Board has adopted the Local Authority’s admissions arrangements, which means that all applications must be submitted via the borough’s process.Ā Ā If you live in Newham, you apply via LB Newham Pupil Services.Ā Ā If you live outside Newham and you want your child to attend this school, you need to apply via your home borough naming this school as a preference on your application.
If your child is starting school in September 2025, you are encouraged to apply for a school place as early as possible.Ā The closing date for all applications is 15 January 2025.Ā To help parents make their school choice, we are welcoming parents to school throughout this autumn term – our tour dates are below and can be booked by calling the Front Office on 020 8472 7142.

Tours are available every week on Wednesday mornings at 9.00am and Tuesday afternoons at 5:30pm throughout October and November. Please call the office to book today!
Starting School – General Information
Our Determined Admission Arrangements were agreed by Newham Council in February 2024, and adopted by the Trust Board of Newham Community Learning, which is our school’s admissions authority, at the trustees’ meeting of 26 March 2024.Ā Ā The adopted Determined Admissions Arrangements for September 2025 entry are available here.Ā
Newham has published Starting School in Newham – this is the composite prospectus for ALL nursery, infant, junior and primary in-year admissionsĀ in the year 2024-25 and for children starting school in September 2025.Ā Children joining us in Reception will also be subject to a Reception Baseline Assessment.Ā This means that we are able to understand, for each child, how best to support their learning, from the moment they start school.Ā Information for parents about this assessment is here.
For our children in year 6 this academic year, Starting Secondary School in Newham is the composite prospectus for all secondary school admissions in Newham for September 2025 entry.

Consultation for Determined Admissions Arrangements in 2026/2027
We are currently consulting on our admissions arrangements for the academic year 2026/27.

The consultation period is from Friday 29th November 2024 to Friday 24th January 2025.
